The atmosphere here is like walking into an Old Western bar that happens to sell bbq. The dark lighting very much has a candle light feel to it. I ordered the Logg Sampler Platter ($56). This comes with 4 meats, 4 sides, and 4 pieces of Cornbread. I got Pulled Pork, Brisket, Smoked Wings, and Ribs ($8 upcharge) for my meats. For the sides I got Mac N Cheese, Bbq Pit Beans, Mashed Potatoes, and Spicy Creamed Corn. Overall everything was good and well cooked. From best to least it was Ribs, Brisket, Smoked Wings, and then the Pulled Pork. I would get the ribs and brisket again, but probably pass on the wings and pulled pork. The Bbq beans were only okay, oddly enough as cold leftovers they were much better. The Mac N Cheese was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. The Mashed Potatoes were very good. The spicy Cream Corn was excellent, they weren't lying it has a spicy kick! Funny enough the best thing was the Cornbread. It was fantastic, some of the best I've had. The worst thing? The sauces. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cool. I had the brisket and pulled pork w BBQ pit beans and sweet and tangy slaw. My wife had the chin gorilla w spicy creamed corn.

Food: 3/5 (Good food!) Service: 4/5 (Service was good!) Atmosphere: 4/5 (Atmosphere was cool with nice decor) Cool experience at Meats Southern BBQ & Carnivore Cuisine! On a recent trip, I experienced this beautiful restaurant. Located in Lansing, Michigan, I love the vibe of the restaurant, the awesome decor, and the smoked meats and sides were okay, too! Love the laid-back atmosphere, friendly staff, and how the environment encourage a time of laughter. BBQ is truly an art, so this place is great for locals in Lansing. The food was okay! Nice size portions for our team and I enjoyed the sauces. The ribs and brisket were better, but the sausage and turkey was simply okay. Sides were not bad! The service is good! Accommodating service, friendly, and the water cups stayed full. The environment is laid-back, fun, clean, and comfortable. Many had a great time while they were at the restaurant. There were free and paid street parking. Great for a quick bite or longer sit. Wheelchair accessible, and price point is $20-30 per person.

We saw the restaurant on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives just before a planned trip to Grand Rapids. Visited on a Sunday afternoon, busy but we were seated almost immediately. Not even larger groups had to wait for very long. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was delicious!

You will notice right away the StarWars theme here! So enjoy haha but you'll notices it's not exclusive of this franchise, so look around!!! The food was pretty good and you get a lot, which after a little beet could get your taste exhausted, so maybe share what you get with someone else so you get more flavors? Place is spacious and staff was very welcoming
